Mr. Speagle is a 1996 graduate of Birmingham-Southern College where he obtained a B.A. in History with a minor in Biology. The following year, Mr. Speagle completed his B. S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Mr. Speagle remained at UAB and finished his Master's degree in 1998 in History, concentrating on the history of science and medicine. From the fall of 1998 until the spring of 2000, Mr. Speagle taught ninth grade physical science and coached junior high football, basketball, and baseball at Bottenfield Junior High School in Jefferson County, Alabama. While teaching, Mr. Speagle also completed a Master's in Biology Education in March of 2000. Mr. Speagle then attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University on a full academic scholarship. While at Cumberland, Mr. Speagle served on the Cumberland Law Review. He graduated cum laude in May of 2003. Mr. Speagle joined the firm in September of 2003.
